Area Sales Manager

Overview

Area Sales Manager role at Tie Talent, covering the South West of England (south and west of Birmingham) and South Wales. Home-based.

• Manage an established sales area and a portfolio of blue-chip accounts in the food industry (meat, cheese, pet food, bakery, dairy and confectionery).
• Sell food processing and/or packaging machinery to customers in the region.
• Perform demo and installation of basic equipment and participate in project management as needed.
• Grow turnover organically over time.

• Proven track record in sales of process or packaging machinery or similar into the food industry.
• Specific experience selling into the meat, cheese, pet food or bakery markets would be advantageous.
• Ideally a technical background and engineering qualifications.

• Basic salary: circa £55,000
• Uncapped commission to earn circa £30,000
• Benefits: hybrid company car, good pension, private healthcare

  Home-based; must live in the area
• Commutable locations:
  Bristol, Birmingham, Swindon, Bath, Exeter, Gloucester, Cheltenham
