What We Need
Corpay is looking to hire a Business Development Executive within our Allstar Business Solutions division. This position falls under our Fuel & Fleet Payments line of business and is located in our Knaresborough office in North Yorkshire.
Your RoleIn this role, you will be part of a high performing team, working full‑time to grow All Star's commercial presence by bringing in new business partners and prospecting, selling, and on‑boarding new clients.
How We WorkAs a Business Development Executive you will be based from our Knaresborough office, initially 5 days per week, with the option to work hybrid following training. Our business operating hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5.00pm.
Corpay Will Set You Up For Success By Providing- Assigned workspace in office and home office setup
- Company‑issued equipment
- Formal, hands‑on training
- Selling – Achievement of individual revenue and sales targets. Work with new and existing medium‑to‑large fleets, supporting their transition to EV by providing our charging solutions. Predominantly 90% via telephone/Zoom and 10% face to face.
- Reviewing and planning – Regular detailed commercial reviews of the sales pipeline to identify opportunities and risks. Each opportunity requires a specific strategy and action plan to manage deliverables.
- Consulting – Provide professional service aligned with our core values, offering effective solutions to maximise success.
- Continuous self‑improvement – Commit to training opportunities, gain thorough knowledge of all products, processes and services, and network effectively across channels to enhance visibility.
- Experience in telesales or similar sales role;
SaaS sales advantageous. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to build rapport and establish long‑term relationships.
- Self‑motivated, target‑driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- High resilience and ability to handle rejection.
- Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced dynamic environment.
