Location:
Hybrid, working from home and also in the field. Ideally you will be based in the East Midlands.

Join Us as a Commercial Account Manager

As our next Commercial Account Manager, you will be responsible for revenue & profit within designated indirect accounts to achieve targeted revenue and profit for the full portfolio of KM products.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Achieve all set sales targets and KPI's by representing the entire range of Konica Minolta products, solutions and services to assigned partners.
  • Work with distribution (Westcoast) to drive sales of KM products and services
  • Support the Channel Business Manager with pricing requests and commercial planning
  • Support Project Seicho by driving activity to grow KM genuine consumables sales.
  • Foster close working relationships with partner sales community at all levels, establishing productive, professional relationships with key personnel in target accounts.
  • Ensure that all relevant distribution employees are fully conversant with KM products and solutions.
  • Keep up to date with new products and industry trends, evaluate performance, and gather competitor intelligence, strategies, promotional activities, organisation and pricing.
  • Proactively assess, clarify and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis, ensuring the partners reflect Konica Minolta's brand values.
  • Manage potential channel & direct sales conflict through adherence to rules of engagement.

    • Screening Call: A friendly conversation with one of our Talent Acquisition team members - a chance for us to get to know each other.
    • First Interview with presentation: Microsoft Teams interview with the hiring team, which will involve a presentation and competency questions
    • Second interview: This will be an informal chat with our Head of Indirect Sales
    • Offer Stage: If we're a great fit, our Talent Acquisition team will be in touch with an offer. From there, our HR Operations team will take care of you.

    • Proven experience of building relationships in a high growth environment
    • Demonstrable indirect sales experience, ideally within print as a consumables specialist
    • A strong networker with ability to encourage performance and drive activity
    • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and proficiency in Excel
    • A solid understanding of consultative sales process.
    • Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills
    • Ability to create/demonstrate empathy with internal and external customers
    • A strong team player
    • Exceptional Stakeholder management
    • High Impact verbal and written communication and present
