Job Title: Service Sales Representitive (Maternity Cover)
Location: Peterlee, Durham (Hybrid home working available)
Salary: £30,000 per annum + Company Bonus.

The position is initially offered as maternity cover, however, there is a strong possibility that the role could become permanent for the right candidate. Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
The Service Sales Representative will play a key role in driving service revenue growth by developing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting service solutions across an assigned territory.
The successful Service Sales Representative will manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through to closure while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Working closely with internal sales, marketing, and service teams, the Service Sales Representative will support bundled product and service offerings while helping to grow long‑term customer accounts.
Responsibilities- Generate and convert new service sales opportunities
- Manage customer accounts and maintain strong relationships
- Support service renewals and repeat business
- Update CRM systems and maintain accurate pipeline reports
- Promote training, products, and service solutions
- Attend exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events
- Provide basic technical and commercial support to customers
- Collaborate with internal departments to support customer requirements
The Service Sales Representative will be expected to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and contribute to overall regional sales growth.
Skills & Experience- Previous experience within sales, service sales, or a customer‑facing commercial role
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Experience working within a technical or engineering environment would be advantageous
- Confident negotiating and closing sales opportunities
- Self‑motivated and target‑driven mindset
- Ability to manage workloads independently
- Good organisational and CRM management skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel when required
