OverviewWe are looking for a sales professional and future business leader with a demonstrable track record in software and solution selling, ideally within the Public Sector. The successful candidate will sell Microsoft business applications, open‑source and AWS software and professional services solutions across the Public Sector, position and sell AI‑enabled and data‑driven solutions, and translate complex capabilities into clear business outcomes and value‑led propositions.
ResponsibilitiesYour main responsibilities will include: achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets, opportunity prospecting, sales qualification, construction, execution and leadership of complex selling campaigns, virtual team management, pipeline management and accurate sales forecasting, and owning the sales functions’ contributions to proposition/bid writing involved in structured procurement processes.
Required Experience- 5-10+ years of demonstrable success in selling professional services and cloud software based solutions to enterprise level customers
- Extensive experience leading major sales campaigns, involving C-suite level engagement and influencing deals between £500k - £2M+
- Extensive experience selling software design, development/build and test professional service solutions
- Extensive experience selling Microsoft business applications and Azure solutions
- Experience selling AI enabled, Agentic AI and data-driven solutions
- Knowledge and experience of solution selling into the Public Sector
- Extensive experience building, managing and executing opportunity, account and territory/sector sales plans
- Evidence of building sustainable sales success through a consultative, relationship-based sales approach
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Educated to Degree level
- Wider IT industry experience enabling participation in Kerv Group cross-selling initiatives
- Experience selling open-source and AWS-based software solutions
- Experience selling into both Public and Private Healthcare organisations in the UK with knowledge of healthcare ecosystems and regulatory dynamics
- Works happily under own direction but fully supported when needed
- Attention to detail and obsessiveness about the little things
- Escalation handler, able to achieve win-win outcomes across teams
- Capable of working effectively with remote teams in India
- Flexible to deliver on time to tight timescales
