AboutThe Role
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Business Development Executive to join a growing and forward‑thinking organisation based in York, North Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving business growth. The role focuses on acquiring new business, responding to inbound enquiries, and re‑engaging previous customers. Working closely with marketing and sales functions, you will help expand the company’s presence across UK and international markets through a combination of telephone outreach, digital engagement, and targeted marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with prospective customers who interact with the company’s website.
- Convert inbound enquiries into commercial opportunities and long‑term business relationships.
- Build detailed customer profiles through direct communication and market research.
- Re‑engage dormant accounts and identify opportunities for renewed business.
- Utilise digital channels, including Linked In, video calls, and online networking platforms, to generate leads and build relationships.
- Support and collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, newsletters, email communications, and promotional activities.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect and customer interactions within company systems.
- Contribute to achieving departmental growth targets and business development objectives.
- Growth and engagement of prospect and customer databases.
- Quality and completeness of customer profiling activities.
- Effectiveness of marketing and outreach campaigns.
- Conversion of inbound enquiries into active business opportunities.
- Successful reactivation of dormant customer accounts.
- Highly motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
