We are looking for a highly motivated, confident, and naturally inquisitive Key Account Manager for our Midlands Region.

The successful candidate will use established key account management techniques to cultivate customer relationships, maintain and grow existing business, and develop new business.

Responsibilities
  • Own, drive and grow accounts and users in collaboration with other key functions such as Medical, Marketing and wider sales team.
  • Develop open and effective channels of communication with clients.
  • Become the reliable point of contact for customers to build strong business relationships.
  • Listen to and understand client needs, addressing client concerns and dealing with objections.
  • Continuously develop own knowledge and skills with Merz Pharma products and maintain an up‑to‑date understanding of developments in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry.
  • Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills, critical reasoning skills, and the ability to sell and negotiate effectively.
  • Be customer‑orientated and work within ABPI guidelines at all times.
Qualifications & Profile
  • Degree or equivalent, ideally in Life Sciences or similar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of B2B experience in client relationship management.
  • Experience with in the Neurology field and working on patient pathways is advantageous.
  • Experience in developing credibility with customers and a demonstrable track record of building strong strategic and trusted relationships with client stakeholders through professionalism and knowledge of products.
  • Knowledge of ABPI Code of Practice and possession of the relevant exam.
  • Good IT skills are essential.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the United Kingdom and internationally.
