The Sales Assistant role at Ms Wordpress is a part-time, hybrid position based in Exmouth, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. In this role, you will support the sales team by responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotes, and following up on leads via email, phone, and online channels. You will help maintain and update customer records, track sales activities, and organize documentation to ensure accurate and efficient workflows.
Daily tasks include assisting with basic product or service explanations, coordinating appointments or demos, and providing general administrative support to the sales function. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure a positive customer experience and consistent communication with prospective and existing clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to build rapport and provide positive client experiences.
- Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal) for interacting with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Foundational sales skills, including comfort with outreach, follow-up, and handling basic sales inquiries.
- Good organization skills to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and prioritize daily activities.
- Basic familiarity with websites or Word Press is beneficial, with a willingness to learn more about digital products and services.
- Comfort using common office and online tools (email, spreadsheets, CRM or tracking systems) to support sales processes.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate in a hybrid work environment.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, sales support, or administrative role is an advantage but not required.
