Job description   About the team
Benelux is Alma's third-largest market in Europe, where we've built a strong local presence over the past few years. As one of our key expansion markets alongside Spain, Italy, and Germany, Benelux sits at the heart of Alma's European growth strategy.
So far, our Italian team consists of 2 people, and it continues to grow!
You'll be joining a close-knit commercial team, with the full support of our Paris-based functions (Product, Marketing, Ops, Risk, People) working hand in hand with international markets. You would play a crucial role in driving the company’s growth in Italy by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and expanding our presence.
Remote contract. Position is based in Belgium. Occasional travel between Belgium and Paris.
About the job
As an      Account Executive Mid-Market   working for the   Benelux market   , your main responsibilities include:
Managing the entire sales cycle (for both Outbound & Inbound) of new Mid-Market accounts (turnovers between €10M-€250M) from prospecting, leads qualification to negotiation and contract signature
Engaging with C-Level Executives, acting as a trusted advisor to navigate their challenges and demonstrate the value of Alma’s solutions
Representing Alma at trade shows and conferences in Benelux and Europe
Contributing to the optimisation of internal processes to support Alma's scalability
Maximizing  Alma’s take rate by ensuring activated merchants are fully optimized
Organizing and tracking all sales activities via our CRM

Profile  About you

You will be a good fit for the role if you have/are:
2-5 years of relevant experience   in similar roles (excluding internships & apprenticeships), with a proven track record in B2B sales
Fluent in Dutch and English
An excellent communication skills
In-depth knowledge of navigating the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with experience in negotiation and contract signing
Strong sales orientation with an energetic approach
Excellent analytical mindset
Self-driven, curious, and proactive
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Well organized with a structured approach
