Key Account Manager (covering the Stevenage, Hitchin, Letchworth, Royston, Sudbury, Colchester area)
Hybrid role involving field-based work, visiting customer sites, offices, and remote work.
About the RoleSpending a part of your time 'on the road', you will be the key point of contact for our customers covering Suffolk and surrounding areas. These companies are incredibly varied, coming from a range of different industries and backgrounds. You will be working closely with these customers, looking to identify their challenges with a view to providing them with top in class solutions, taking your portfolio to the next level.
- Identify and target revenue potential within your portfolio.
- Produce robust business plans that exceed sales and profit targets.
- Build a detailed understanding of the customers, markets, and competitors.
- Maintain and upkeep accurate customer records.
- Build coalitions across the business to support the delivery of sales targets including with the internal account managers.
- Experience in a field-based sales role with account management responsibilities and exposure to working to KPIs and targets.
- Open-minded, possessing the ability and williness to embrace change.
- Someone who takes a solution-led approach to their work.
- Proven ability in strategic thinking and planning.
- Excellent relationship builder.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM or B2B vendor experience would be a bonus.
- Driving licence essential.
