Overview

The Pre‑Sales Consultant is a key commercial role responsible for winning new business and expanding Altus Group’s presence across the EMEA market. Partnering closely with Sales, you will lead complex client pursuits from discovery through to close, acting as a trusted advisor to senior real‑estate decision‑makers. You will develop compelling, value‑based solutions, articulate the strategic value of ARGUS and Altus Group’s product roadmap, and help clients improve portfolio performance, investment outcomes, and operational efficiency while driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Sales to develop strategic account plans and support complex client pursuits across EMEA.
  • Lead discovery sessions to understand client objectives, investment strategies, and operational challenges.
  • Design and present tailored solution demonstrations that align Altus capabilities with client needs.
  • Develop compelling business cases that articulate measurable ROI and long‑term business value.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and act as a strategic advisor throughout the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and other internal teams to align client needs with solution capabilities.
  • Maintain expertise in ARGUS solutions, commercial real‑estate trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Support thought leadership initiatives and represent Altus at client meetings and industry events.
  • Travel as required to support client engagements and business development opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 7‑15 years of experience in commercial real‑estate, financial services, investment management, asset management, or a related industry.
  • Experience partnering with enterprise sales teams on complex, consultative sales engagements.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real‑estate investment strategies, financial modeling, and portfolio management.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior executives and key decision‑makers.
  • Experience delivering technology demonstrations, solution presentations, and ROI‑focused business cases.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self‑motivated with strong project management and organizational abilities.
