Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for keeping corporate clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.
  • Build and maintain strong long‑term relationships with corporate clients based on trust and respect, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Understand each customer’s needs and requirements, developing tailored account plans to support their business goals.
  • Identify growth opportunities and align solutions with client needs, driving revenue through upselling, cross‑selling, and retention strategies.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Collecting and analysing data to identify any issues, trends and opportunities for growth:
    • Daily high‑level monitoring of customer activity.
    • Track KPIs such as delivery times, cost efficiency, and service reliability.
    • Provide clients with regular performance reports and insights.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintaining industry knowledge and understanding of company products and services.
  • Advise clients on market developments, regulatory changes and strategic opportunities.
  • Resolving any escalated issues and preventing further occurrence by improving processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for service failures and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborating with internal colleagues and departments to facilitate company and client needs.
  • Managing realistic customer expectations and deliver solutions that meet their objectives.
  • Help customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen‑share and in person meetings.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Provide regular updates on account performance and forecasts.
  • Supporting the Customer Experience team in periods of absence/during peak times.
About You

We’re looking for a commercially minded, customer‑focused professional who is passionate about building long‑term client relationships and delivering exceptional service. You will be confident managing key accounts, analysing performance data, identifying opportunities for growth, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve the best outcomes for our customers.

  • Previous experience in a client relationship, account management role.

Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels.

Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.

Commercially aware with the ability to identify growth opportunities and drive account development.

Analytical mindset with experience interpreting data, reporting on KPIs, and identifying trends.

  • Highly organised with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Proactive, solutions‑focused, and able to resolve challenges effectively.
  • Comfortable working independently whilst collaborating closely with colleagues across multiple departments.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for client meetings when required.

Experience with in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, parcel delivery, or another service‑led industry would be advantageous.

A strong track record in managing client relationships, improving customer retention, and delivering commercial growth is more important.
