Business Development Executive

Overview

Doing business development and selling into the American market in Shropshire requires real sales tenacity. This Business Development Executive role will bring a unique industrial solution used across a wide range of industries to the United States.

This role is part of a new venture as the company expands into the American market, starting on the East Coast then moving westward. Hours will be aligned to ensure calls and emails reach US clients during their business day. The position is based in Shropshire with the option to work from home.

• Sell the industrial solution remotely via phone or Teams calls to a wide range of end‑user industries, including aggregate, automotive, food, manufacturing, and oil and gas.
• Engage industrial users, facilities companies, and distributors that support them.
• Open doors, build relationships, and spot opportunities early in the U.S. market.
• Operate with autonomy: you will not be micromanaged and will design a growth strategy that fits your style.

• Strong sales experience, especially selling into America; prior experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to quickly pick up technical information and help customers find the right solution.
• Comfortable selling over the phone or through Teams calls.

• Salary of £40,000.
