About the Company

I'm working with a well established and growing electronic security specialist that has built an excellent reputation delivering commercial security solutions across London and the South East.

Due to continued growth, they have created a brand new Business Development Manager position. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that already has an established commercial client base and strong operational delivery team, giving you the platform to build upon existing success while developing new business opportunities.

The company specialises predominantly in CCTV, Access Control and Integrated Security Systems, with additional capabilities within AV solutions.

The Role

This is a genuine hunter role, suited to someone who enjoys generating new business and developing long term client relationships.

You'll be responsible for identifying new commercial opportunities, winning new clients and working closely with the estimating and operations teams to ensure projects are successfully delivered.

Although the role has a strong security focus, experience within AV or integrated technology solutions would also be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

Generate new commercial business across London and the South East.

Develop relationships with end users, consultants, fit out contractors, M&E contractors, main contractors and facilities management companies.

Identify opportunities for CCTV, Access Control and integrated security solutions.

Attend client meetings and site surveys.

Produce proposals and negotiate contracts.

Work closely with internal estimating and delivery teams.

Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.

Achieve agreed sales targets and business growth objectives.

Represent the business professionally within the marketplace.

Requirements

Proven experience in a Business Development or Technical Sales role within the electronic security industry.

Strong background selling CCTV, Access Control or integrated security solutions.

Experience developing business within the commercial sector is essential, with exposure to environments such as office fit outs, commercial offices, hospitality, retail

A proven track record of generating new business and winning commercial contracts.

Strong presentation, negotiation and relationship building skills.

Self motivated with a proactive approach to sales.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

Experience selling AV or integrated technology solutions.

Existing network of commercial contacts including consultants, contractors or end users.

Experience working on large commercial security projects.

£50,000 Basic Salary.
