Job Description & How to Apply Below

If you love building relationships, keeping clients happy, and helping accounts grow (without sounding like a robot in the process), this could be the role for you!

At Twenty Ci, our clients are people-first businesses, and we mirror that with a down-to-earth, personal approach. We're looking for an Account Manager to join our SME Data Sales team on a 7-month fixed-term contract, covering a period of maternity leave. You'll be working across Mover Alerts (Removals & Self Storage clients) and Buyer Alerts (SME retailers).

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a meaningful, hands‑on role with real ownership from day one - whether you're between roles, open to contract work, or just want to try out a new sector or team.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Managing and growing a portfolio of around 200 SME clients, as part of a team overseeing approx. 400 active accounts across our Mover Alerts and Buyer Alerts products.
  • Onboarding new clients and making sure they get the most out of our data solutions.
  • Spotting opportunities for upsells and cross-sales in a way that feels helpful, not pushy.
  • Reducing churn – keeping our clients engaged, happy, and renewing their contracts.
  • Handling client queries and making sure any issues are resolved quickly.
  • Attending industry events, exhibitions, conferences, and client meetings to build and grow relationships.
  • Working closely with our sales, marketing, and product teams to share customer insights and help improve our offering.
  • Keeping track of client health metrics and proactively reaching out to accounts that need attention.
Who Are You?

We know great candidates come from all kinds of backgrounds, so don't worry if you don't tick every box below if you're excited about this role, we'd still love to hear from you.

  • 2+ years of account management or customer-facing experience this could come from sales, hospitality, customer service, or similar client-facing work.
  • Comfortable building relationships with people at all levels, from small business owners to senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts at once.
  • A thoughtful problem-solver who can navigate client concerns calmly and find practical solutions.
  • A clear communicator across email, phone, and in-person settings.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and CRM tools;
Hub Spot experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
  • An interest in the UK property or data sectors is a nice-to-have, but not essential.
  • Able to commit to the full 7-month contract term.
What's In It For You?

We have a pool table in the office, but that's probably not the deciding factor here.

You’ll get holiday entitlement pro‑rated for the contract length (based on 25 days plus bank holidays, plus your birthday off), and a comfortable office environment with a nice breakout area and tea/coffee/water provided.

There's a salary of £30,000–£35,000 (pro-rated as applicable) depending on the skills and experience you bring, plus an uncapped commission scheme with an achievable OTE of £11K, again pro-rated for the contract period.

You’ll also be working alongside a friendly, down‑to‑earth team of data specialists, marketers, administrators, finance colleagues, salespeople, and people people, all genuinely good to work with.

We believe in a healthy work‑life balance and want you to have one.

We've also put real thought into wellbeing support, including a confidential 24/7/365 helpline for all colleagues, and an app with helpful wellbeing content. We work on a hybrid basis, balancing time in our Milton Keynes office with working from home when it suits. You don't need to live near Milton Keynes to apply - we're looking for the right person with the right experience, wherever you're based.

So, you should be able to relax and enjoy meaningful work in an environment which challenges you to grow, surrounded by people who might just become friends as well as colleagues.

We're not looking for a particular 'type', just someone friendly, driven, and ready to make a real impact over the next 7 months. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
