Business Development Manager, Sales Manager

A genuinely exciting Business Development Manager/Sales Manager opportunity has arisen with this leading supplier of acoustic solutions. They are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with experience of winning large projects via architects, contractors and specifiers to join their team. A lot of the work they win tends to be with large data centres and can be anything from £1 million to £5 million in value so it will be important that you can tender and win large scale projects.

LOCATION:

Candidates can live anywhere in the UK and will cover potentially the whole UK as a territory. You will work from home when you are not visiting clients.

SALARY: £60,000 to £90,000 as a basic salary plus bonuses, fully expensed company car or car allowance, 20 days annual leave and company pension.

You will be selling a wide range of acoustic and sound proofing solutions such as acoustic panels, sound proofing panels, insulations, enclosures, cabin and noise barriers via specifiers, architects, main contractors and chiller manufacturers.

As Business Development Manager you will be tasked with using the existing database of contacts with specifiers, architects, chiller manufacturers and main contractors in order to hunt for new projects for which to quote for. You will build relationships with important key contacts, promote the products and put together technical quotes, bids and tender for large scale projects worth £1 million and upwards.

Over time the role will develop to a more Senior position with the business.

Successful candidates will have a technical bias coupled with experience of winning large projects. Ideally you will have come from a HVAC or acoustics background and have the ability to put together technical design solutions. If this sounds of interest please apply ASAP.
