Senior Business Development Manager - National Accounts

Location:

Home-based with national travel. Ideally based near Milton Keynes, Northampton, Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Luton, Watford, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans or Stevenage.

Salary: £60,000-£70,000 basic + uncapped commission

Are you an experienced Senior Business Development Manager, National Account Manager, Key Account Manager or OEM Sales Manager ready for a more strategic opportunity?

This senior sales role offers the autonomy to develop high-value national accounts, win new business and build relationships with key decision-makers across OEM, automotive aftermarket, fleet and distribution markets.

You'll represent an established range of UK-manufactured vehicle safety and vision systems, supported by experienced technical and internal teams.

The role

You will:

Win new business with OEMs, major fleets, motor factor groups, buying groups and national distributors
Grow existing key and strategic accounts
Build relationships with senior commercial, procurement and engineering decision-makers
Identify opportunities to increase account value and market penetration
Present vehicle safety and vision solutions to customers
Lead commercial discussions and support negotiations
Manage your national sales pipeline, customer meetings and CRM
Work with technical and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions

About you

You'll have a successful track record in senior B2B sales, business development or national account management, ideally involving technical products within:

Automotive aftermarket or OEM
Motor factors and buying groups
Wholesale and national distribution
Major fleets and logistics
Commercial vehicles or technical automotive products

You'll be commercially focused, credible with senior stakeholders and confident developing complex accounts and winning new business.

This is a home-based position involving regular UK-wide travel. A full UK driving licence is essential.
