Are you an experienced education sales and partnerships professional who can build trusted relationships with senior leaders across Multi Academy Trusts?
We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.
We are looking for a Trust Partnership Manager to play a key role in growing and developing strategic partnerships with Multi Academy Trusts across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to shape how Cambridge OCR works with MATs, helping trusts achieve their priorities through our qualifications, assessment, data and insight portfolio.
About the role
As Trust Partnership Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of a MAT engagement and sales plan, supporting the acquisition of new MAT customers and creating long-term partnerships that deliver sustainable commercial growth. You will position Cambridge OCR as a strategic partner of choice by aligning our education offer with trust priorities and helping MATs improve outcomes for learners.
You will build and nurture senior-level relationships with MAT leadership teams and key decision-makers, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities across Cambridge OCR, Cambridge Insight and Cambridge UK Resources. You will also work closely with colleagues across sales, marketing, subject advisory, customer success, product and insight teams to ensure a seamless, customer-focused experience.
Additional responsibilities and accountabilities include:
* Developing and delivering a business development plan to support growth across the Cambridge UK portfolio within Multi Academy Trusts.
* Driving the acquisition of new MAT customers through a compelling UK Education MAT proposition.
* Converting high-value MAT opportunities into long-term strategic partnerships.
* Building strong relationships with MAT senior leaders and key decision-makers.
* Identifying opportunities for qualification alignment, tenders, retention support and wider partnership development.
* Representing Cambridge OCR at national and regional MAT events.
* Capturing customer feedback, market intelligence and competitor insight to inform business strategy and product development.
* Using CRM systems effectively to track customer engagement, opportunities and progress.
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly in relation to endorsed publications and regulated qualifications.
This is a home-based role, with regular travel expected to meet customers, attend events and collaborate with colleagues as required. Flexible working requests will be considered from the first day of employment, including other work arrangements should you require adjustments due to a disability or long-term health condition.
About You
You will bring proven strategic commercial sales experience within education, along with a strong understanding of the UK education landscape, policy and market dynamics. You will have experience of building senior stakeholder relationships, developing strategic partnerships and delivering commercial growth in complex, collaborative environments.
You will be confident engaging with MAT leaders and key decision-makers, able to influence strategic outcomes and translate customer priorities into meaningful partnership opportunities. Strong communication, presentation, IT and CRM skills will be essential, alongside the ability to manage multiple priorities and use data to inform sales planning and customer engagement.
If you meet the above minimum requirements, we encourage you to apply. Your application will be even stronger if you can also demonstrate the following desirable criteria:
* Knowledge of Multi Academy Trust operating models in the UK.
* Experience of strategic sales planning and implementation.
* Understanding of assessment, publishing, formative baseline assessment or the awarding organisation landscape.
* Experience using customer insight, market intelligence and CRM data to shape business plans.
* A customer-centric approach, with the ability to innovate and work collaboratively across teams.
