Sales & Business Development Manager Waste & Electrical Recycling Salary: £40,000 £ 45,000 per annum  car or car allowance Location Remote working with travel to client sites Ideally central/ Midlands location We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Sales & Marketing Manager to join the team and help take our client to the next level. The company specialises in the recovery of redundant electrical equipment, working with organisations and sites across the UK.

They collect in excess of 20,000 tonnes of redundant electrical equipment from sites throughout the country This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands the waste and recycling industry, has a strong sales background, and can combine commercial activity with creative marketing and PR. The Role You will take responsibility for developing new business, strengthening existing customer relationships and raising the profile of the company within the waste and recycling market. Your responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement a sales and business development strategy. Identify and pursue new customers and commercial opportunities across the UK. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and industry contacts. Promote our electrical equipment recycling and recovery services. Develop marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate leads. Managing PR activity and increasing the company's profile within the industry.

Representing the company at trade shows, exhibitions and industry events. Building relationships with industry bodies, publications and relevant stakeholders. Monitoring market trends, competitors and emerging opportunities. Working closely with the wider team to develop new commercial opportunities. About You We are looking for someone who is commercially minded, confident and well connected within the waste industry. You will ideally have:
Proven sales and business development experience within the waste, recycling or environmental sector. A strong understanding of the waste and recycling market. Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills. Experience or a strong understanding of marketing and PR. Confidence representing a business at exhibitions, events and industry meetings. Waste industry experience is essential for this position. You may have been in the following industries:
