Description We're looking for a dynamic, driven sales leader to grow Clearwater's presence in the EMEA Asset Owner market - pension schemes (including LGPS), sovereign wealth funds, insurers, and corporates. This is a player-coach role: you'll build and lead a team of quota-carrying Enterprise Representatives, Pre-Sales Consultants, and Business Development Representatives, while personally owning and closing a set of strategic accounts yourself.
You'll carry accountability for the team's overall quota through new client acquisition, and your own individual number as an active seller in the region. You'll create and drive the region's go-to-market plan in partnership with the EMEA MD and GM of Asset Owners, and will help shape product strategy for corporations, pension funds, the LGPS market, and sovereign wealth funds.
Clearwater's consultative sales process is built on a deep understanding of client market requirements and operational challenges - this role is highly visible within Clearwater's EMEA growth story, with a solid-line report to the EMEA MD and a dotted line to the GM of Global Asset Owners.
- Player (individual contribution):
Personally manage and close a portfolio of strategic accounts and complex deals (e.g. pension buy-outs, large transformations) alongside team quota responsibility. Leverage existing relationships with target prospects, clients, and market influencers, and build new ones at C-level. - Coach (team leadership):
Build, manage, and coach a team of Enterprise Representatives, Pre-Sales Consultants, and Business Development Representatives; own the team's overall booking target. Create the Go-to-Market strategy and executable plan for Asset Owners, aligned to EMEA goals. Collaborate with central Marketing, Product, and Solutions leaders on regional execution and product input. Sit on the EMEA leadership team, helping shape regional vision and goals alongside the MD, EMEA.
Build and scale one of Clearwater's key European regions in an entrepreneurial, high-ownership capacity.
- 10+ years in enterprise/SaaS sales, with direct experience selling to Asset Owners - UK pension schemes/LGPS, sovereign wealth funds, insurers, or corporate treasury.
- 3+ years managing a quota-carrying sales team, with a track record of hitting multi-million annual booking targets.
- Proven track record closing strategic, complex deals in EMEA (e.g. pension buy-outs/buy-ins, large-scale transformations).
- Established relationships with C-level buyers and senior decision-makers in the Asset Owner space.
- Strong client-facing presentation and writing skills.
- Comfortable operating as both an individual contributor and a people manager (true player-coach mindset).
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission, pension contribution, and private healthcare
- 25+ days PTO plus volunteer time off
- Enhanced maternity and paternity leave
- Up to 3 weeks/year working from anywhere
