Travel Sales Consultant
- Indian Ocean and Caribbean
This role involves selling and booking properties to travel trade partners and clients.
Base Salary to £33,000. OTE £60,000. Salary based on skills and experience.
Hybrid
- Central London or fully remote within the UK.
Our client is a luxury travel company, a well-established DMC specializing within the Indian Ocean – Maldives, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, Mauritius and the Caribbean. The company works with some of the UK's leading travel companies as well as internationally based clients. They are now seeking a Travel Sales Consultant to join their team who has sales and product knowledge within the Indian Ocean or Caribbean.
Responsibilities- Sell and book luxury accommodation in the Indian Ocean and the Caribbean, selling to the travel trade only both within the UK and internationally.
- Provide responsibility for the customer journey of every client throughout the whole sales process, providing a consistent and excellent level of service.
- Answer all phone call enquiries and respond to email enquiries.
- Work to sales targets and apply upselling, cross selling and switch selling techniques.
- Previous travel sales experience and strong travel product knowledge of the Indian Ocean or the Caribbean is essential.
- Excellent all-round travel product and destination knowledge of the Indian Ocean or Caribbean.
- Base Salary: £30,000 to £33,000 depending on experience.
- OTE: £50,000 to £60,000.
- Monday to Friday role with very occasional weekends.
