This home-based role offers an outstanding chance to engage with new and existing customers delivering industry-leading solutions that address their scientific and business needs.
As an Inside Sales Representative you will handle positioning and selling LGCs Diagnostics & Genomics products and services throughout the Nordics region. This role suits driven individuals who have enthusiasm for sales and a demonstrated history of achievement.
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to complete each of the following essential functions satisfactorily:
- Inbound Lead Management:
Follow up on new customer inquiries sample requests webinars and tradeshow leads by phone or email. Proactively contact prospective customers to generate demand for LGC products and services. - Proactive Sales:
Drive territory growth through direct account management of existing customers and prospecting for new business within the Research & Academic Public Health and Biotech segments. Use outstanding verbal and written communication skills to understand customer requirements and recommend solutions in a consultative manner. Lead customer-facing sales presentations and product discussions collaborating with Product Specialists and Field Applications teams to address technical needs. - Pricing/Quoting:
Offer pricing and quotes to customers collaborating closely with Product Management Product Specialists and Customer Service Teams. Follow up on quotes and orders to ensure repeat business and discover additional commercial opportunities within customer accounts. Apply approaches to maintain recurring revenue and keep valuable customers. - Portfolio/Solution Selling:
Effectively sell the full LGC Diagnostics & Genomics product portfolio including Reagents Instrumentation and Laboratory Services. - Sales Strategies:
Establish and complete strategies for acquiring new customers and maintaining/growing existing customer accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals. - Industry and Product Knowledge:
Cultivate an in-depth knowledge of LGCs products and services showing a persistent eagerness to learn as the portfolio broadens. Stay informed about industry developments client processes and rival products to ensure effective positioning of LGC products. - Reporting:
Provide timely sales and pipeline inputs to support the reporting of leading and lagging indicators. - Marketing Support:
In partnership with Marketing support initiatives for social selling and outbound projects including Linked In e-blasts trade shows and (web) conferences. Attend trade shows and conferences as required. - :
Use SFDC CRM to detail customer information track opportunities and sales activities. - Quality:
Adhere to the requirements of the ISO 13485 quality management system. - Essential Proficiencies and Behaviours:

Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- A bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences Business Marketing or a related field is required; a masters or doctorate degree in Biology Genetics or Business Administration is desired.
- Strong foundation in genetics and molecular biology; laboratory or bench experience preferred. Ability to understand a broad range of customer applications and identify commercial opportunities.
- Experience in sales account management customer service or other customer-facing roles preferred. Demonstrated communication skills and interest in consultative selling required.
- Proficiency with or other CRM for pipeline and account management preferred.
- Demonstrated ability or skills to develop customer relationships find opportunities and contribute to account growth preferred.
- Strong computer skills required including working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products particularly Word Excel and PowerPoint.
