This isn’t another generic commission sales role where you’re trying to convince businesses to buy something they don’t really need.

We have a range of established services specifically designed to help British exporters increase their international exposure and generate new business.

Our media packages range from £295–£895 per year and include:

* A full company profile on the British Exporters Database

* Unlimited use of our news and PR platform

* Participation in our new Super Catex Virtual Catalogue Exhibitions, based on the highly successful catalogue exhibitions we ran 28 years ago

We also have an Information Service that connects British exporters with companies around the world that are already looking to buy British products.

Recent enquiries have included:

These are not vague expressions of interest. They are active buying enquiries, some of the hottest sales leads available to British exporters.

A genuinely interesting product range

And once you understand what we offer, none of it is particularly hard to sell.

Our services aren't designed to take over an exporter’s overseas marketing. They are there to complement what the exporter is already doing and give them additional opportunities to promote their business and find international customers.

That makes the sales conversation straightforward: understand the business, understand what they're trying to achieve overseas, and explain how our services can help.

The honest version of the earnings

We don't want to dress this up with unrealistic earning claims.

The numbers are simple:

70+ calls a day → around 10 pitches → consistent selling = £30k–£50k a year.

Commission is 50% on new business and 30% on repeat business, and we pay commission monthly.

Training is thorough. You’ll learn the services, the market and how to have the conversations that turn prospects into customers.

Who we're looking for

Some of our best people have come from engineering, exporting and international trade.

If you've got overseas experience in any field and genuinely enjoy speaking to people, we'd like to talk to you.

You don't need a particular degree or a long list of qualifications.

You do need to be:

* Confident speaking to business owners and senior decision-makers

* Comfortable making a high volume of calls

* Naturally persuasive without being pushy

* Commercially minded and motivated by results

* Able to understand a business and identify an opportunity

* Organised and reasonably confident using databases

* Self-motivated and able to work independently

You'll need a laptop and a bit of database confidence.
