Account Manager

We are a well:established engineering business supplying market:leading UV and water treatment solutions to manufacturing and industrial customers across the UK. We are currently looking for a progressive and dynamic Account Manager to grow an established customer base and drive new business.

BASIC SALARY:
Up to A GBP 55,000

LOCATION:

Home based with travel to customers nationwide and occasional visits to the office in Bedfordshire.

Milton Keynes, High Wycombe, Oxford, Reading, Slough, Aylesbury, Luton, Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Northampton, Bedford.

Reporting to the General Manager, as our Account Manager, youll manage a healthy mix of existing accounts and new business opportunities (approximately 70 account management and 30 new business). Working with engineers and manufacturing customers, youll recommend specialist UV disinfection solutions that improve efficiency and protect critical assets.

• ADevelop new business opportunities whilst increasing revenue within an established portfolio of industrial customers.
• ABuild strong relationships with engineers, production managers, maintenance teams and procurement professionals across UK manufacturing businesses.
• ARecommend technical solutions that improve efficiency, productivity and operational performance.
• AManage the full sales process from enquiry and quotation through to negotiation, order and ongoing account development.
• AMaintain an active sales pipeline and CRM whilst identifying future growth opportunities.
• AWork closely with internal technical specialists and supplier partners to deliver exceptional customer support.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Business Development Manager, Account Manager, Technical Sales :
Water Treatment, Industrial Engineering

You will be someone who enjoys building long:term customer relationships whilst growing existing accounts and winning new business. Youll be comfortable working with engineers and taking a consultative approach to technical sales. You will have experience within water treatment or UV technology, although well also consider candidates from a wider technical or industrial sales background.

• AExperience selling technical products, engineered solutions or industrial equipment into manufacturing, industrial or process:led environments.
• AThe ability to build credibility with engineers, production managers, maintenance teams and procurement professionals.
• AExperience managing your own sales pipeline and forecasting activity through a CRM system.
• AStrong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities, negotiate effectively and convert enquiries into orders.
