The world needs more Intrepid people:
Help travellers discover the very best of Southern Africa through tailor-made journeys that create lasting memories!
As a Product & Tailor-Made Consultant, you'll play a key part in the end-to-end sales, consultation and booking of tailored independent trips (FIT) and private group trips across the Southern Africa region - South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, Eswatini & Lesotho. You'll also be the go-to person for our customers seeking FIT & Private Group itineraries, using your destination knowledge and product expertise to create trips that fulfil their expectations.
If you love Southern Africa, enjoy connecting with people and have a passion for creating unforgettable travel experiences, we'd love to hear from you!
This is a permanent full-time role, based in our Johannesburg office, where you'll work in a 3-2-1 hybrid model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, including at least 1 office day on a Monday or Friday.
Some of the experience you'll bring with you may include:
- Strong destination and travel knowledge of Southern Africa
- In-depth knowledge of Southern Africa travel operations, ideally within tailor-made & small group adventure travel
- Proven experience with selling and booking trips
- Experience creating adventure travel products
- Ability to build great relationships with suppliers, and internal teams
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
