Compensation: Potential commissions of $35,000–$70,000 annually
Position: 1099 independent contractor
Mattis Travel is looking for an organized independent consultant to coordinate cruises, group vacations, family reunions, milestone celebrations, resort stays, and other leisure travel. The coordinator will gather traveler information, compare suitable options, prepare group proposals, monitor deposits and deadlines, and communicate important supplier terms.
Successful candidates should be comfortable managing details, communicating with several travelers, and keeping accurate booking records. Advisors also develop their own clients through networking, referrals, social media, and approved marketing.
This is not an employee position. Actual commissions depend on completed travel sales, supplier rates, cancellations, refunds, and individual activity. Earnings and perks are not guaranteed.
Position Requirements
High School,
Less than 1 Year
work experience Requirements and skills:
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable computer, telephone, and internet
- Strong organization and follow-through
- Customer-service and relationship-building skills
- Ability to explain information clearly
- Sales or event-planning experience is helpful
