Remote Account Manager - Gauteng

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Remote Account Manager to manage and grow client relationships across the Gauteng region. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while serving as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, driving retention, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our client's solutions.

• Manage a portfolio of assigned client accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase client lifetime value through upselling and cross-selling.
• Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews with clients to understand their evolving needs.
• Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries, issues, and requests.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., support, product) to ensure seamless client experience.
• Track account health metrics and proactively address any potential risks.

• Proven experience in account management, client relations, or a similar sales-focused role.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, especially in a remote context.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Proficiency with CRM software and other sales/account management tools.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
