About the Role
Our client is looking for an innovative and strategic Head of Business Development to join their team remotely. This senior leadership role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth on a national and international scale. You will develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies, lead a high-performing team, and represent the company in key industry forums.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional market insight, a robust network, and a proven ability to conceptualize and close complex deals in a remote setting.
- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market expansions.
- Lead and mentor the business development team, setting clear objectives and performance expectations.
- Negotiate and close complex deals, including strategic alliances, joint ventures, and key client contracts.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and competitive threats.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
- MBA or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or corporate strategy, with a significant portion in senior leadership.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing growth strategies and closing multi-million dollar deals.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and global business development practices.
- Experience in remote team leadership and managing distributed work forces.
