About the Role
Our client is looking for an engaging and knowledgeable Retail Sales Trainer to develop and deliver training programs for their sales teams across the Eastern Cape, with a primary focus on the Port Elizabeth region. This role is vital in equipping staff with the skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques needed to excel. You will design curriculum, conduct workshops, and provide ongoing coaching to foster a high-performance sales culture.
This remote-friendly position offers the flexibility to impact a broad audience while ensuring consistent training standards.
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive sales training programs for new and existing retail staff.
- Conduct engaging and effective training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and virtually.
- Develop training materials, including presentations, manuals, and e-learning modules.
- Assess training effectiveness through performance evaluations, feedback, and sales metric analysis.
- Provide individual coaching and support to sales associates to enhance their skills and performance.
- Stay current with product knowledge, sales methodologies, and industry best practices to ensure training relevance.
- Proven experience in sales training or a related L&D role within the retail sector.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of retail sales processes, customer service principles, and adult learning theories.
- Ability to develop engaging training content and materials.
- Proficiency with virtual training platforms and e-learning tools. Willingness to travel occasionally to retail locations as needed, particularly in the Port Elizabeth area.
