Key Account Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a strategic and relationship-driven Key Account Manager to oversee and grow relationships with their most important clients, potentially based in or connected to Upington. This role is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, identifying opportunities for expansion within existing accounts, and acting as the primary liaison between the client and our client's internal teams. You will play a crucial role in retaining business and driving revenue growth through exceptional account management and strategic planning.

• Manage and nurture relationships with a portfolio of high-value key accounts.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximize client value and retention.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Conduct regular business reviews to assess client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.

• Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a senior client relationship role.
• Strong understanding of account management principles and B2B sales strategies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to think strategically and develop long-term client success plans.
• Proficiency in CRM software and sales reporting tools is required.
