Sales Engineer

A rare chance for an experienced internal sales person or commercially minded Field Service Engineer to move into a field sales role where you will be given full product training and will spend 3 to 6 months shadowing an experienced Sales Manager. You will be working for a manufacturer of packaging machinery sold to the food industry. BASIC SALARY: circa £45,000 BENEFITS:
· Commission & Bonus to earn circa £10,000
· Car Allowance or Company Car

LOCATION:

Home based and living in the Midlands you will cover the whole UK COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS:
Nottingham, Sheffield, Derby, Leeds, Birmingham, Leicester, Lincoln

JOB DESCRIPTION :
Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer - packaging machinery, food You will be given full product training in the UK and in Europe and will spend the first 3 to 6 months shadowing an experienced Sales Manager. You will be home based and will spend anytime not out with your mentor, at home canvassing existing and clients using the companies CRM to create qualified leads for sales of machinery.

There will be no set target in your first year but selling two machines would be a good sign that things are progressing well. Target in third year will be to produce T/O of £1 million which is very realistic.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer - packaging machinery, food
· You will be an experienced internal or field sales person ideally having sold capital equipment or a technical solution into the food industry.
· The company will consider a good industrial salesperson with an engineering background or an experienced commercially minded Field Service Engineer with packaging machinery & food industry experience looking to move into a field sales role.
· Any relevant engineering qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential, THE COMPANY: A well established and successful European manufacturer of packaging machinery with a growing UK sales & service office looking to strengthen their UK sales team by taking on and training someone with potential. A good client of mine that I have worked with for a few years and a genuinely nice place to work.
