Business Development Manager

New challenge for an ambitious sales professional to join a leading instrumentation company. Our client delivers solutions to manufacturing sites across a variety of industries including food & drinks, cosmetics and water testing. In this position, you will be responsible for driving business growth across the Water testing sector, visiting customer across the UK. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and maintaining your territory plan, identifying key customers and accounts to achieve and exceed sales targets
* Take primary responsibility for direct sales activities within the defined territory selling to both existing and new end-user customers
* Carrying out product demonstration and attending events such as workshops, roadshows, and conferences
* Managing opportunities within the CRM database to allow timely and accurate sales forecasts
* Maintaining strong and positive customer relationships to ensure long-term success Applications are invited from accomplished sales professionals from the scientific industry, ideally with experience selling into the Water sector.
