About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Remote Tourism Consultant to join their dynamic team, based virtually from Sandton . This role involves designing and selling customized travel experiences, providing expert advice on destinations, accommodations, and activities to a diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of various travel markets, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to build strong client relationships.

• Design personalized travel itineraries based on client preferences, budgets, and travel styles.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations on destinations, tours, accommodations, and transportation.
• Manage client inquiries, consultations, and bookings via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
• Develop and maintain relationships with travel suppliers, negotiating rates and securing exclusive deals.
• Stay updated on travel trends, new destinations, and industry best practices to enhance service offerings.

• Proven experience as a Tourism Consultant , Travel Agent, or similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of global destinations and travel products.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and reservation software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport remotely.
