We’re hiring a Technical Business Development Manager to grow our Aftersales Division across the UK swimming pool and spa market.
This is a high-impact opportunity to shape sales strategy, win new business and strengthen existing client relationships. Reporting to the Operations Director, you’ll work remotely, travel to meet clients and attend industry events, and visit Head Office two to three days each month.
The Role- Shape and deliver a sales strategy that increases turnover, profitability and service quality.
- Build a strong pipeline by identifying prospects, engaging decision-makers and converting opportunities.
- Develop existing accounts by presenting new products and services that meet client needs.
- Create persuasive quotations, tenders, proposals and pitches.
- Coordinate sales and marketing activity, using market, competitor and client insight to guide growth.
- Work with technical colleagues to improve the customer experience, services and product offering.
- Track performance against targets and provide clear weekly and monthly updates.
- Proven business development or technical sales experience, with a track record of building pipelines and achieving targets.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- A commercial, self-motivated approach and the confidence to work independently.
- The ability to understand markets, competitors and client needs and turn insight into action.
- Willingness to travel, attend industry events and stay away from home when required.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Salary: Up to £55,000, depending on experience.
- Travel: Company vehicle or car allowance.
- Holiday: 25 days’ annual leave plus 10 bank holidays.
- Benefits: Company pension, mobile phone, laptop and required IT equipment.
- Flexibility: Remote working, with two to three days per month at Head Office.
- Development: Clear objectives, ongoing support and training from the Operations Director.
