About the Role
Our client seeks a dedicated and proactive Account Manager to manage and grow key client relationships within the Industrial Sector , based in or serving the Richards Bay, Kwa Zulu-Natal region. This role is crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction and driving repeat business through exceptional service and strategic account planning. You will act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
This position offers a great opportunity to work with major industrial clients and contribute directly to the company's sustained success.
- Manage a portfolio of existing industrial clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and implement account plans to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Serve as the main liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess performance and identify future needs.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities within the industrial sector to advise clients.
- Process orders and ensure smooth delivery and post-sales support for all accounts.
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar client-facing sales role, preferably in an industrial context.
- Strong understanding of the industrial sector and its unique requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships.
- Proficiency with CRM software and sales reporting tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
