About the roleCovenant Insurance Services is seeking a Commercial Insurance Producer to help businesses protect what they have built while developing a long-term book of business. We work across commercial and trucking insurance, along with contractors, manufacturers, restaurants, commercial property, and other business accounts throughout Oklahoma, Texas, and beyond.
This is a relationship-focused sales role for someone who enjoys meeting business owners, learning how their operations work, and helping them find thoughtful insurance solutions. You will have support from our experienced team, carrier relationships, marketing resources, and a steady flow of agency-provided leads, including access to proprietary lead databases. You will still be expected to prospect, follow up, network, and build relationships, but you will not be starting from zero.
Your responsibilities will include contacting and qualifying leads, developing referral relationships, gathering account information, coordinating submissions with our team, presenting proposals, closing new business, and maintaining strong client relationships. This is a producer position rather than an account management or customer service role, with meaningful opportunity to grow income through new business and renewals.
We are open to experienced insurance professionals and motivated salespeople from other industries. A P&C license and commercial experience are helpful, but we can provide guidance and support for the right person to learn the business. Covenant offers the flexibility of remote work with the connection and resources of an established independent agency—giving you more variety and ownership than a carrier or call-center role.
