Are you an experienced Sales or Account Manager with a strong commercial mindset and a talent for building long-term customer relationships?
I’m currently recruiting for a Commercial Sales Account Manager to join an established and growing business within the water treatment and building services sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being customer-facing, developing regional sales opportunities and working with technical products and solutions.
The RoleYou’ll be responsible for developing business across the North and Midlands, working with M&E contractors, end users and merchants to build relationships, generate new opportunities and manage projects from initial enquiry through to delivery.
You’ll become a trusted point of contact for customers, helping them identify the right water treatment solutions while working closely with internal teams to ensure opportunities progress successfully.
Key Responsibilities- Build and develop strong relationships with M&E contractors, end users and merchants.
- Identify and generate new sales and project opportunities across your region.
- Manage the regional sales pipeline from initial opportunity through quotation, order and delivery.
- Carry out regular customer visits, sales calls and face-to-face meetings.
- Develop merchant relationships to increase product sales.
- Work closely with Internal Sales and other teams to maximise opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, ensuring opportunities and follow-ups are clearly documented.
- Balance customer requirements with commercial value when progressing opportunities.
- Develop your technical knowledge of water treatment equipment, plant room schematics and technical specifications.
- At least four years' sales experience, ideally within territory or account management.
- Desirable Experience
- It would be advantageous if you have experience within:
Water treatment, Building services, Technical sales, M&E - Selling to contractors, end users or merchants, Plant room equipment, Technical specifications or schematics
You don't need to be a water treatment expert from day one. What's important is that you're confident dealing with customers, understand sales, enjoy building relationships and have the curiosity to learn the technical side of the industry.
