National Account Director - East Region, leading U.S. market access strategy for Xenon’s epilepsy product pipeline, including Azetukalner.
Responsibilities
- build and maintain relationships with national and regional payers, secure rapid formulary adoption, develop strategic account plans, negotiate contracts, and maximize product access aligned with commercial goals.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs and Value & Access teams; represent Xenon at industry events; provide payer insights; and oversee budget and team development if applicable.
- bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred), 10-12 years in biotech/pharma market access, with at least 5 years engaging with national accounts.
- Deep understanding of U.S. payer/PBM economics, analytics, and healthcare landscape.
- High-value: focus on epilepsy (focal onset seizures, generalized tonic-clonic), late-stage clinical development, and product launch readiness; some international travel; fully remote position.
The role emphasizes strategic relationship management, access negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced neuroscience-focused biopharma environment.
