Founding Sales Engineer Go-to-market US · Remote View

Be the technical voice in every deal — from first demo to signed scope agreement.

As our first sales engineer, you’ll define how Cyrion is demoed, scoped, and technically evaluated by security-conscious buyers. You will work directly with founders and shape the sales motion, not just execute one.

• Run technical demos and proof-of-concept engagements with prospective customers’ security and engineering teams.
• Own scoping conversations — translating a prospect’s environment into a defensible engagement plan.
• Answer deep technical and security-posture questions (architecture, data handling, compliance mapping) during evaluation.
• Partner with product and research to relay prospect feedback into the roadmap.
• Build the reusable demo environments, scoping templates, and security questionnaires the team will use going forward.

• 3+ years in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or a customer-facing security role.
• Genuine technical depth in offensive or application security — you need to be credible with CISOs and engineers alike.
• Comfortable owning ambiguity — there is no existing playbook to follow.

• Prior experience selling into security/compliance-conscious mid-market or enterprise buyers

• Competitive base + commission
• meaningful early equity
• full health coverage
• a $2,000/yr learning budget
