This senior role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships with brokers and intermediaries, and developing sales strategies to achieve ambitious revenue targets. You will leverage your extensive network and deep understanding of the insurance market to foster strong relationships and promote the company's offerings.

- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve company sales targets.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key brokers, agents, and potential corporate clients.
- Promote and present the company's insurance products and services effectively.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities.
- Negotiate and close complex deals, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Provide market feedback to product development and marketing teams.
- Mentor and support the sales team in achieving their objectives.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in business development or sales management, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Extensive knowledge of the South African insurance market and distribution channels.
