The Commercial Account Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Columbus, OH, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. In this role, the Commercial Account Manager oversees a portfolio of commercial accounts, builds strong relationships with business clients, and serves as the primary point of contact for their vehicle and fleet needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing account renewals, preparing proposals, coordinating vehicle orders and deliveries, and ensuring accurate documentation related to sales, leasing, insurance, and service.

The role involves proactively identifying client needs, presenting suitable solutions, and collaborating with sales, service, and finance teams to deliver high-quality customer experiences. The Commercial Account Manager also tracks account performance, resolves issues promptly, and supports business development activities to grow commercial relationships.

• Candidates should possess strong Account Management skills, including portfolio oversight, retention strategies, and relationship-building with commercial clients.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills with a focus on responsiveness, problem solving, and client satisfaction.
• Candidates should possess working knowledge of Insurance concepts relevant to commercial vehicle coverage, risk management, and policy documentation.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Candidates should possess Sales skills, including opportunity identification, consultative selling, and negotiation in a commercial or B2B environment.
• Relevant experience in automotive, fleet management, or commercial transportation is beneficial.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar tools) is preferred.
• Reliable transportation to work on-site in Columbus, OH on scheduled days is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
