Regional Sales Representative - Fire Protection

Location:

Home-based, UK North, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland (Midlands, Northern England, Scotland, NI and ROI)

Salary: £55k-£65k + Car Allowance and Bonus

Hours:

Full-time, 35 hours per week

Flowtec Group is partnering with a global manufacturer of fire protection products, with more than a century in the industry, to appoint a Regional Sales Representative covering the Midlands, Northern England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

This is a sales role first. You don't need to come from fire sprinklers - if you've sold technical or mechanical products to contractors and distributors and you're good at building relationships, our client will give you a strong product range and an established name to sell behind.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Acting as the company's main representative across the region
• Managing your own contractor, distributor and designer accounts by phone, email and site visits
• Handling orders, quotations, and commercial and technical queries
• Winning new business and promoting the full product range
• Managing pricing in line with company policy
• Forecasting and budgeting for your accounts and keeping the CRM up to date
• Representing the business at regional shows, including BAFSA and RSA events
• Working closely with the Director of Sales - EMEA and the customer service and credit teams

What You'll Need:

• A proven track record in field or technical sales
• An engineering background is preferred
• Excellent communication and rapport-building skills, and integrity
• A good understanding of fire sprinkler equipment, or similar mechanical products such as valves and pipework
• Ability to travel freely across the region
