Rechat is the operating system for real estate. Marketing, CRM, transactions, listings and AI in a single product, replacing the disconnected stack of tools most agents are forced to stitch together.
We partner with brokerages, teams and agents across North America to modernize how real estate is marketed, managed and transacted. Some of the largest brokerages and networks on the continent run their business on Rechat, and tens of thousands of agents use Rechat every week.
We have spent the last two years rebuilding the product to be AI-native, and we are growing quickly.
REMOTE (Work may be performed anywhere)
The Role
We are looking for a Business Development Representative whose core strength is outbound prospecting, especially cold calling.
Outbound is the core of this role. You will actively identify, research and contact high-performing real estate teams and brokerages, create interest in Rechat and generate meaningful sales opportunities. You will also follow up quickly on inbound leads, but if you are looking for a mostly inbound role, this is not it.
Phone outreach will be a major part of the role. You should be comfortable speaking with people who were not expecting your call, navigating objections and consistently turning outbound activity into qualified conversations.
We are intentionally not defining this position as strictly Enterprise or SMB. The right opportunities may come from different parts of the market, and we want our BDR team focused on prospects where the commercial opportunity justifies the investment of sales resources.
You will work closely with our revenue leadership and sales team to determine who we should pursue, what messaging works, which channels convert and which opportunities should move forward.
The goal is not activity for the sake of activity. The goal is qualified pipeline and revenue.
We are continuing to build and refine this outbound motion, so you should be comfortable testing, learning and helping create a repeatable system rather than simply operating inside an established playbook.
What You’ll Own:
- Outbound pipeline generation. Identify and engage high-performing real estate teams and brokerages.
- Cold calling. Consistently make outbound calls, create conversations, navigate objections and identify real opportunities.
- Multi-channel prospecting. Support phone outreach with thoughtful email, Linked In, video, social and other channels.
- Prospect research. Understand who you are contacting, why they may be a fit for Rechat and what is most likely to create a relevant conversation.
- Qualification. Understand the prospect’s organization, current technology, needs, team structure, timing, buying intent and commercial potential before moving an opportunity forward.
- Opportunity prioritization. Recognize which prospects justify deeper BDR and sales investment and which should follow a more transactional path.
- Qualified meetings. Book conversations for the sales team based on fit and opportunity potential, not simply meeting volume.
- Follow-up. Run disciplined multi-touch outreach and know when to continue, change your approach or move on.
- Inbound follow-up. Respond quickly to inbound leads, qualify them and route them to the right seller.
- CRM management. Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations, qualification, next steps and opportunities in Hub Spot.
- Funnel performance. Track and understand your calls, conversations, meetings, qualified opportunities, conversion and pipeline generated.
- Messaging and feedback. Share what you are hearing from prospects and help Sales, Marketing and Product improve positioning and outreach.
- Building the playbook. Help identify what works and turn successful approaches into a repeatable outbound process as the team grows.
