Sports Sponsorship Manager

Our client is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Sports Sponsorship Manager to join their dynamic, remote-first team. This role is pivotal in identifying, securing, and managing lucrative sponsorship opportunities within the Leisure & Sports landscape. You will be responsible for developing compelling sponsorship proposals, nurturing strong partnerships with corporate clients, and ensuring the successful activation of sponsorship agreements to maximize value for all parties.

• Identify and prospect potential corporate sponsors aligned with our client's sports properties and brand values.
• Develop and present persuasive sponsorship proposals, tailoring them to meet sponsor objectives.
• Negotiate and close sponsorship deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
• Manage and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing sponsors.
• Oversee the successful activation of sponsorship benefits, ensuring promised value is delivered.
• Analyze sponsorship performance metrics and provide regular reports to stakeholders.

• Proven experience (5+ years) in sponsorship sales , marketing, or business development, preferably within the sports or entertainment industry.
• Demonstrated success in identifying leads, building relationships, and closing deals.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of the sports market and corporate sponsorship landscape.
• Ability to work independently, manage a pipeline, and achieve ambitious targets in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
