POSITION SUMMARY:

The Balega Field Service Representative is a motivated self-starter who will lead and execute seasonal go-to-market, field service, and direct sales strategies within the assigned territory, primarily Ontario, Canada, with coverage of select accounts in New York. The role will focus on technical representation and service for approximately 22 Running Room stores in Ontario, as well as other run specialty shops, while also carrying support responsibility for approximately 15-20 independent accounts in Ontario.

This role will foster growth, excitement, and awareness within the community by conducting education, promotion, social media posts, merchandising, and account development activities for Balega, Implus, and its products. The Balega Field Service Representative will establish meaningful and lasting relationships with retailers, community partners, and consumers; support the management of assigned independent accounts; and drive sell-through of Balega products to increase market share.

This role is ideal for someone who loves being on the road and enjoys connecting with people. Frequent travel to assigned accounts, designated consumer events, races, and weekend activities is an essential function of the position. Remote (Home-Based) - Ontario, Canada.

Essential Job Function:

Support retailers through in-person visits, demos, working the sales floor, and partnering for local expos

Work with local rep to develop and execute account growth plans that balance sell-in opportunities with field service activities that support sell-through

Maintain accurate account, opportunity, order, and sales activity information and communicate risks, opportunities, and customer feedback to sales leadership and local rep Collaborate with internal sales, customer service, marketing, and operations teams to meet account needs and ensure a consistent customer experience

Conduct clear and persuasive product presentations to educate and motivate retail staff and customers

Engage with community and retail partners to create excitement and brand awareness around Balega (and Trigger Point / Rock Tape as appropriate)
Implement merchandising or promotional activations with product and POPServe as the primary technical field representative for approximately 22 Running Room stores in Ontario, providing product education, staff training, in-store support, and sell-through activations for Balega and other assigned Implus brands as appropriate

Represent Balega at local (and select national and US Based) events, races, and expos – such as Disney in Florida)
Complete detailed and accurate field activity reports turned in immediately after field visits

Maintain organization and appearance of field assets and product samples
