About Valoroo

Valoroo runs freight operations and accounting admin for more than 125 freight brokerages, 3PLs, carriers, managed transportation providers, and shippers. Our team of about 1,000 logistics-trained specialists in the Philippines, Colombia, and Mexico works inside our customers' TMS and alongside their people: tracking loads, chasing PODs, building loads, auditing carrier invoices, and running billing and collections. We also help customers map their workflows so each piece of work goes to the right place.

Every freight team is being pitched automation right now. Somebody still has to catch what the software misses: the check call that didn't happen, the POD that never came back, the invoice that doesn't match the rate con. That work sits between the onshore team and the tools, and it's our work. We make sure nothing gets missed.

About the role

We're hiring two Account Executives, one in the Northeast and one in the South, to join our reps in the West Coast and Midwest. This is a field role. We want you in the room with owners, presidents, and operations leaders at brokerages, 3PLs, and shippers in your region: at their offices, at local freight events, and at trade shows.

You'll own new business in your territory from the first conversation through agents going live, then work with our account managers to grow those accounts. Most customers start with a small trial and add seats as the work proves out, so the job is part hunting and part building relationships that last.

What you'll do
  • Build and work a territory plan: which brokerages, 3PLs, and shippers in your region to go after, and who to know inside each one.
  • Get in front of customers through office visits, lunches, local freight association events, and trade shows.
  • Run discovery with owners, presidents, COOs, CFOs, and VPs of Operations. Find where the work is piling up: check calls, after-hours coverage, POD-to-invoice lag, DSO, loads per rep per day.
  • Build the business case in the customer's own numbers: cost per load, gross profit per head, days off DSO.
  • Scope and launch trials with our operations team, then convert them to paying customers.
  • Work with our SDR team, who book discovery calls onto your calendar, and our account managers, who take over day-to-day once agents are live.
  • Keep Close, our CRM, accurate: stages, agent counts, and dates. It's how we forecast, and it's how you get paid.
  • Bring back what you hear in the field, including objections, competitor moves, and how buyers talk about AI. It shapes what we build and how we sell it.
What we're looking for
  • 3 to 5 years of B2B sales, with a record of hunting and closing new logos, not only managing renewals or inbound.
  • A freight background: brokerage or carrier sales, 3PL, freight tech or TMS, or BPO and staffing sold into logistics. You know how a brokerage makes money and what a bad week in operations looks like.
  • Comfort selling to owners and executives at mid-sized companies, where the person across the table is often the one who signs.
  • You'd rather be in someone's office than on your fifth video call of the day. You live in the territory and want to travel it.
  • CRM discipline. You log the call, update the stage, and keep an honest forecast.
  • Curiosity about AI in freight, and the ability to talk about it plainly without overselling.
  • Clear writing and speaking.…
