Salary, up to £30K base plus £10K - £15K OTE

This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for someone ready to launch and progress a career in sales. No prior sales experience is necessary — we provide full, comprehensive training to set you up for success. You will drive sales growth across our prestigious portfolio of life science events, including Investival events, Bio Europe and Bio Europe Spring, and our celebrated Gala Dinner and Awards.

Working directly with the Head of Delegate Sales, you'll develop valuable relationships with industry professionals while contributing to both established and new events.

• Build and manage relationships with potential delegates for our flagship events, primarily through high-volume telephone outreach
• Create opportunities through showcase presentations
• Develop new business relationships while nurturing existing client connections, via phone, virtual meetings, and face-to-face interactions
• Represent the business in person at senior client meetings and industry events as your confidence and skills grow
• Grow into sponsorship sales opportunities with full training support

• Shape the success of industry-leading events through strategic delegate acquisition
• Contribute to the growth of new event launches
• Help life science professionals connect and collaborate at our prestigious gatherings

• A genuine drive and ambition to build a long-term career in sales
• Excellent communication skills, both on the phone and in person — this role is heavily telephone-based, with regular virtual and in-person meetings involving senior-level clients
• Strong organisational abilities and self-motivation
• Natural relationship-building capabilities
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for learning new skills
• No prior sales experience required — full training will be provided from day one
