Global plastics and polymers company with over 2,500 employees that has been in business for over 75 years has an exciting opportunity available for a Technical Sales Rep. This a remote position and can be based anywhere in the Mid South area including Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina etc.
Responsibilities- sales growth
- relationship building
- key account management
- prospecting
- solutions selling
- 50% or more travel is required
- BS Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, plastics engineering, materials engineering, or related engineering degree is required.
- Must have at least 7 years of commercial or sales experience in the polymer industry.
- Experience with thermoplastics, plastic additives, polyethylene, polypropylene, HDPE, LLDPE, LDPE, polyolefins, plastic additives, PVC, compounding, extrusion, injection molding, or plastic resins would be a plus.
- Prior technical service experience would be a plus.
