Founding Account Executive

Texas, field-based. Full-time. You'll work from home within reach of a major Texas metro and spend regular time in person at districts, ESC regions, demos, and conferences. There's no daily office to report to.

CoPilot Data helps Texas school leaders understand and improve their A–F accountability ratings. We've grown since 2018 on word of mouth and founder-led sales. Now we're hiring our first full-time salesperson.

You'd own new district business across Texas and work directly with our founder. There's no SDR team and no inbound machine to inherit. You'll build the pipeline, run the demos, and close the deals, and what you hear from districts will shape what we build next.

• Build and work your own pipeline of Texas districts and campuses
• Demo CoPilot to superintendents, principals, and curriculum and assessment leaders
• Work the Texas conference and ESC circuit
• Close new business and set accounts up to renew
• Bring back what districts are asking for so it reaches the product

• You've sold to Texas K-12 districts, or you're a Texas educator or administrator who's ready to sell
• You know how a district buys: budget season, board approval, purchase orders, co-ops
• You've built pipeline from scratch, not just worked leads someone else handed you
• You can talk STAAR, A–F, and CCMR with a principal without notes
• You'd rather build something than manage a process

Base salary plus uncapped commission on new business, and a share of renewal revenue on the accounts you bring in. We'll go over the full plan in our first conversation, and you'll have it in writing before you start.

If there's a great rep who calls on your district, introduce us. If we hire them, we'll pay you $2,500 once they've been with us 90 days.
