The Opportunity

At Easee, we're building technology that makes electrification effortless. Our products are used across Europe, and our success depends on attracting people who share our ambition, curiosity, and commitment to great results.

As our Technical Sales Engineer, UK, you'll be the technical backbone of our UK commercial organisation, bridging Sales, Product, and Customer Excellence. You'll translate customer needs into scalable hardware, software, and integration solutions, support the full sales cycle with deep technical expertise, and make sure customers and partners are set up for success before and after the sale. This role focuses on technical enablement rather than quota ownership, and supports both Business Development and Account Management.

Working closely with the UK sales team, wholesalers, installers, charge point operators (CPOs), and utilities, as well as Customer Excellence, Product, and Engineering, you'll support complex deals, design end-to-end charging solutions, and train the people who sell and install Easee products. It's a chance to work where technology meets commercial outcomes, and to bring the voice of the UK market back to the people who build the product.

What's

in it for you
  • Work alongside some of the experts behind one of the world's best-selling EV chargers

  • Be the go-to technical person in the UK sales team, directly contributing to win rates

  • Real influence on how Easee grows in the UK, with a direct line to Product and Engineering

  • Ownership of how technical knowledge is shared across our sales team, wholesalers, and installers

  • Autonomy to come up with and run your own initiatives

Core Outcomes Short-term
  • You've raised the technical knowledge level of the UK sales team and trained wholesalers and installers on Easee's products

  • You're the trusted technical voice in customer and partner conversations, supporting complex deals, RFPs, and tenders, and overcoming technical objections

  • You're designing tailored end-to-end solutions that account for site requirements, power capacity, DNO/grid constraints, and backend integrations (OCPP, OCPI, APIs)

  • You've built strong working relationships with key wholesalers, installers, CPOs, and energy companies

  • You're acting as a quality gate for technical issues, supporting Customer Excellence with 3rd line troubleshooting before escalation to Engineering

  • You've built a clear view of the UK regulations and standards affecting our products (e.g. BS 7671, Smart Charge Points Regulations, Public Charge Point Regulations, Building Regulations Part S) and work with Product and Compliance to stay ahead of changes

Long-term
  • Knowledge sharing across the UK market is structured, repeatable, and efficient

  • Easee is recognised by UK installers and partners as easy to specify, install, and support

  • Customer and market feedback (feature gaps, integration needs, competitive positioning) flows consistently into the product roadmap

  • Post-sale feedback is gathered systematically and drives improvements in customer experience

  • Easee's solutions are interoperable across the wider UK ecosystem of CPOs, energy providers, and software and backend platforms

What you need to bring along
  • 3+ years of experience in EV charging, energy, or a related technical-commercial role

  • A track record in technical pre-sales, solution design, and customer-facing roles

  • Strong knowledge of the EV charging ecosystem: hardware, installation, grid constraints, software platforms, and integrations

  • Experience with protocols such as OCPP, OCPI, APIs, and AMQP

  • An understanding of UK regulatory frameworks and compliance

  • The ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business value, and to manage stakeholders across commercial and technical audiences

  • A structured, solution-oriented mindset with high ownership and execution drive

  • Comfort delivering training, demos, and technical presentations to groups

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant tools such as CRM

  • A degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Installation, or a related field. Relevant hands‑on experience can compensate for formal education.

  • Willingness to travel around 1-2 days per week, a full UK driving licence, and the right to work in the UK

Interview Process
  • (30m) Recruiter Screen

  • (30m) Hiring Manager Screen

  • (90m) Hands-On Challenge and Technical Deep Dive
